APRIL 7, WORLD HEALTH DAY: in defense of public health and occupational health for all.
From the Rojinegra Coordinator we want to express on this world health day our full support to the health personnel who are risking their lives to try to guarantee health care to all sick people, to whom are added the coronavirus infections.
The working conditions without prevention resources to avoid becoming infected or transmitting the infection, as well as the lack of respirators or funeral services released by hospitals and residences for the elderly, show that essential services and our right to an universal healthcare are not being guaranteed. We know the causes because we have been denouncing them for too many years: the cuts in health budgets that have been taking place in recent years as well as the privatization of health in favour of the capitalist interest, the lack of hiring health personnel ...
The organizations that are part of the Coordinadora Rojinegra join the # Health4All campaign and call on society to go out to the windows and balconies from their confinement to applaud healthcare personnel today at 8:00 p.m. With this gesture we want to convey more than gratitude to you, our firm commitment to continue fighting for public, universal and quality healthcare.
Our lives are worth more than the benefits of capital!

7 DE ABRIL, DÍA MUNDIAL DE LA SALUD: en defensa de la sanidad pública y la salud laboral para todas.
Desde la Coordinadora Rojinegra queremos manifestar en este día mundial de la salud nuestro total apoyo al personal sanitario que está arriesgando su vida para tratar de garantizar la asistencia sanitaria a todas las personas enfermas, a las que se suman las infecciones por el coronavirus.
Las condiciones de trabajo sin recursos de prevención para no infectarse ni transmitir la infección, así como la falta de respiradores o servicios funerarios que liberen los centros hospitalarios y las residencias de personas mayores, ponen de manifiesto que no se está garantizando servicios esenciales ni el derecho universal a la salud. Conocemos las causas porque las venimos denunciando desde hace ya demasiados años: los recortes en los presupuestos sanitarios que se han venido produciendo en los últimos años así como la privatización de la sanidad a favor del interés capitalista, la falta de contratación de personal sanitario…
Las organizaciones que formamos parte de la Coordinadora Rojinegra nos sumamos a la campaña #Health4All y hacemos un llamamiento a la sociedad para que, desde su confinamiento, salga a las ventanas y balcones para aplaudir al personal sanitario en el día de hoy a las 20h. Con este gesto queremos transmitirles más que un agradecimiento, nuestro firme compromiso de seguir luchando por una sanidad pública, universal y de calidad.
